SYMPTOM:

Customers may comment on the following:
● Rear window washer is not working.

CAUSE:

Lack of connection between the water jet hoses in the body grommet

This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update (RSU) 25-215,
date of issue October 11, 2025. All applicable RSU VINs have been loaded. To verify this RSU service
action is applicable to the vehicle, use VIP or perform a VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library.
All repairs are reimbursable within the provisions of warranty.
REPAIR SUMMARY:
This bulletin involves inspecting and possibly connecting the rear washer nozzle hoses to the washer nozzles.

DIAGNOSIS:
If a customer’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RSU VIN list, perform the repair. If any vehicle not on the VIN list
exhibits any of the symptom listed above in the customer symptom section, perform the Repair Procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Open the hood.
2. Verify the windshield washer reservoir has washer fluid. Add washer fluid if needed.
3. With the vehicle started, activate the rear window washer by the control level located behind the steering
wheel.
4. Does the rear glass washer spray windshield washer fluid onto the rear glass?
● YES>>> This bulletin has been completed. Use Inspection LOP (23-43-10-9G) to close the active RSU.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 5.
5. Inspect the windshield washer hose connections at the rubber grommet Fig. 1.

6. Are the windshield washer hoses securely connected to the grommet Fig. 1?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 18.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 7.
7. Remove the front windshield wiper nut cover Fig. 2.

8. Using a 15 mm (3/8 in.) socket, remove the wiper arm nut Fig. 3.

9. Remove the clips securing the cowl panel cover Fig. 3.
10. Using a Phillips head screwdriver or similar tool, push the washer fluid hose into and through the grommet
hose connection until it appears on the backside of the grommet Fig. 4.

11. Using pliers, remove any excess debris Fig. 5.

12. Position the inner washer fluid hose (inside the passenger compartment) to connect the outer hose (on the
engine bay side) Fig. 6.

13. Connect the inner hose (inside the passenger compartment) with the outer hose (on the engine
compartment side) Fig. 6.
14. Install the cowl panel cover Fig. 3.
15. Install the wiper nut and tighten to 24 N∙m ( 212 in. lbs.) Fig. 3.
16. With the vehicle started, activate the rear window washer by the control level located behind the steering
wheel.
17. Does the rear glass washer spray windshield washer fluid onto the rear glass?
● YES>>> This bulletin has been completed.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 18.
18. Remove the rear spoiler. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service
Library under: Service Info> 7210G76 - Spoiler - Removal/Replacement.
19. Disconnect the washer fluid hose from the rear spoiler.
20. Disconnect the washer fluid hose from the plastic grommet side that feeds the hose to the rear spoiler Fig.

21. Using compressed air, clear the washer hose of any debris.
22. Connect the washer hose to the plastic grommet Fig. 6.
23. Connect the washer hose to the rear spoiler.
24. Install the rear spoiler. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service
Library under: Service Info> 7210G76 - Spoiler - Removal/Replacement.
NOTE: For SA market only, after applying this TSB, it is not necessary to send DID-I or DID-A.
