Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Erroneous Message at Start Up,

“Warning Light Illumination Unavailable Service Required”

Message displayed at start up and has no known functional affects for the owner.
Customer Complaint/Technician Observation: The owner may complain of the above

intermittent cluster warning message at start up. Please do not replace IPC if all the following

conditions are TRUE, see cluster message page 2.
1. Active IPC, DTC-B12B7-92, Instrument Panel Cluster Display-Performance or Incorrect

Operation.

2. This condition for this message appears upon start upon when the code is set as active. After

the ignition is cycled the code will go stored and can be cleared. No further actions are

required if there are no other functional issues reported. The update is estimated for release by

the mid to late 4th quarter 2025.

3. If there are functional complaints associated with this complaint, continue with the normal

diagnostics for the condition and follow any service diagnostics for DTCs logged.
