stored in the PCM. This may be due to a restriction in the cylinder deactivation solenoid oil feed tube.
Action: For vehicles that meet all of the criteria in the Issue and Model statements, follow the Service Procedure to
replace the affected cylinder deactivation solenoid oil feed tube.

Service Procedure
1. For DTCs P3402 and/or P3426, replace the right side cylinder deactivation solenoid oil feed tube.
(1). Remove the right valve cover. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01D > Removal and Installation > Valve Cover RH
> Removal > Steps 1-13.
(2). Remove and replace the right cylinder deactivation solenoid oil feed tube. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01D >
Removal and Installation > Camshaft RH > Removal > Step 2 only.
(3). Install the right valve cover. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01D > Removal and Installation > Valve Cover RH >
Installation > Steps 1-12.
2. For DTCs P3442 and/or P3450, replace the left side cylinder deactivation solenoid oil feed tube.
(1). Remove the left valve cover. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01D > Removal and Installation > Valve Cover LH >
Removal > Steps 1-11 for single generator or 1-14 for dual generator equipped vehicles.
(2). Remove and replace the left cylinder deactivation solenoid oil feed tube. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01D >
Removal and Installation > Camshaft LH > Removal > Step 2 only.
(3). Install the left valve cover. Refer to WSM, Section 303-01D > Removal and Installation > Valve Cover LH >
Installation > Steps 1-12 for single generator or 1-14 for dual generator equipped vehicles.
