Technical background: Due to an unforeseen supply quality issue from the component provider, certain vehicles have been delivered without the optional Jewel Oil Filler Cap. This part is a customer-paid option, and in order to avoid further delays and inconvenience to our customers, these vehicles were supplied with the standard Oil Filler Cap in place of the Jewel version. This condition has no impact on vehicle performance, safety, or engine operation. However, the part may not meet the expected visual or branding standards defined for final vehicle presentation and may therefore fall short of customer delivery expectations.

Repair instructions
Technical background
Due to an unforeseen supply quality issue from the component provider, certain vehicles have been
delivered without the optional Jewel Oil Filler Cap. This part is a customer-paid option, and in order to avoid
further delays and inconvenience to our customers, these vehicles were supplied with the standard Oil Filler
Cap in place of the Jewel version.
This condition has no impact on vehicle performance, safety, or engine operation. However, the part may not
meet the expected visual or branding standards defined for final vehicle presentation, and may therefore fall
short of customer delivery expectations.
Remedy
Retailers are requested to check the oil filler cap specification. If the cap does not match the required
specification, it must be replaced with the correct part. Refer to the work section for more information.
Customer notification
Customers of affected vehicles will be notified in writing by their Bentley retailer to arrange an appointment.
Please ensure that all affected vehicles are checked and repaired at the nearest opportunity, make a note of
the required action on the workshop order before it is signed by the customer.
If it is omitted to perform the work required during a workshop visit, the customer should be notified
immediately.
You should also pass on this information to your new and used car sales department so that affected
vehicles are checked and repaired immediately.
All vehicles which have not been received by customers must have the required work conducted as per the
Work section (during PDI).

DISS ticket the parts team will approve your raised order. Include a photograph of the VIN and reference

If the vehicle is not already listed as repaired in the ‘Repair history’ section of ElsaPro, check the
‘Identification’ section of this document. In the event that the campaign has not been applied, please carry
out the required work in accordance with these instructions.

1. Open the bonnet and inspect the oil filler cap to confirm it matches the correct specification for the vehicle
model.

2. Perform a check of the Oil filler cap. If the specification is correct, as per figure 2. Refer to the
identification section to confirm campaign completion.

3. If the oil filler cap does not match the specified part, as per figure 3. Replace it with the correct
specification part listed in the genuine parts section.
NOTICE
Ensure the replacement is securely fitted and meets all visual and functional standards.
4. Refer to the identification section to confirm campaign completion.
Identification
Once the applicable action has been conducted, the operative must submit a warranty claim as this will show
the service campaign action as complete within Elsa Pro “Repair history”.
Fitment of the correct specification oil filler cap as per Figure 4 confirms campaign completion.
