Engineering has identified a fault with certain Auxiliary Accumulator solenoids.

Some Customers may comment on a check engine light on.

This will generally happen following the installation of a remanufactured valve body.

Upon Inspection the Technician will find one or more of the following DTC'S P171A, P171B or P171B setting or any

combination thereof.

If these DTC'S are found Technicians are to inspect the Julian Date on the solenoid (See Pictures Below).

It should also be considered best practice to inspect the Solenoid Julian Date when replacing an Accumulator and/or

valve body.

Note: The first 3 digits are the Julian Date and the 2 digits following that are the year

Suspect solenoids are built with a Julian Date of 06025 through 20225.

If the solenoid is found within this breakpoint ONLY the solenoid should be replaced.

If the solenoid falls outside of this range normal SI diagnostics should be followed.
