This TSB resolves Pending Service Solution (PSS) TSB 2077208: 97 PSS Audi connect Digital keys cannot be
shared. Shared key does not work.

Please check whether TSB 2079690, 00 Combined software update 03.10.00/C (28.13.01) KD2 is visible for this
vehicle. If this is the case, proceed as follows.

Perform the procedure described below to reactivate sharing of the digital key via the myAudi app.

If a digital key is already in use, resetting the key user will remove this digital key and it must be set up
again!

Requirements:

*« Make sure that a physical key (remote control key) is available.
e« Make sure that the key user’s device is available.

* Make sure a key user has already been created for the vehicle

« Make sure the vehicle has mobile reception, is online and has a valid time signal (sufficient satellite reception).

The “Share digital key” function is activated via a deletion event. For this purpose, a digital key must
already have been set up, deleted again, and then set up again.

Part 1 (prior to the software update):
The vehicle’s ignition must be switched on with the physical key (key fob).

If a digital key has already been adapted, it must be deleted before the software update:
1. Open the “Digital key” menu option in the MMI.

2. Select the “Management” tab and then “Main device management”.
3. Select “Remove main device”. The key fob must be inside the vehicle.

Confirm that you want to remove the main device.
Please note: The digital keys will be deactivated on the main device.

The customer will receive a push notification from the myAudi app and can then remove the keys from the
wallet app.

The push notification has no effect on the following steps.

Part 2:
Perform the software update described in TSB 2079690, 00 Combined software update 03.10.00/C (28.13.01) KD2 .

Part 3 (following the software update):

Following the software update, the digital key must be set up again, deleted again and then set up again. This
initiates the process in the backend that enables the digital key to be shared.

The vehicle’s ignition must be switched on with the physical key (remote control key).
If there is an existing digital key, it must be deleted first:

Open the “Digital key” menu option in the MMI.

Select the “Management” tab and then “Main device management”.

Select “Remove main device”. The key fob must be inside the vehicle.

Confirm that you want to remove the main device.

The digital keys will be deactivated on the main device. The customer will receive a push notification from
the myAudi app and can then remove the keys from the wallet app. The push notification has no effect on
the following steps.

The Key User must be deleted and set up again:

Using Audi connect activation card (black card):

1. The customer must bring their Audi connect activation card (black card) with them when they pick up the
vehicle.

2. Delete the vehicle from the myAudi app with the customer, add it again and set the key user again.

3. The customer should then be able to set Digital key using the myAudi app once more.

Without the customer having their Audi connect activation card (black card):

1. Delete the vehicle from the myAudi app with the customer.

2. Contact AudiDigital Business Support to have the vehicle and key user added again. The contact number is
(800-822-2834).

3. After a short wait, the customer will be able to add the digital key to the myAudi app again. It will then be
possible to share the digital key again

When performing the combined software update, time stamps are not required for billing under warranty. You are
therefore permitted to work on other vehicles at the same time. The combined software update can also be
performed by non-productive personnel.
