L1023: 2024 S2 DEL MAR REPLACEMENT POWER ELECTRONICS UNIT (PEU) COLOR
CHANGE
When replacing a silver PEU on a 2024 S2 Del Mar as a warranty
repair, Tech Service will order the black trim kit in addition to
the replacement PEU. This kit will only be needed one time to
change the trim over.

Purpose for Service Bulletin
The 2024 S2 Del Mar replacement Power Electronics Unit (PEU)
will be changing color from silver to black.
There is a black trim kit (Part No. 47201242 or 47201243)
available to switch over silver components on a customer's
motorcycle. This kit will be ordered in addition to the
replacement PEU for motorcycles with silver trim.

Follow service manual procedures for installing components
in the black trim.

NOTE
See Figure 1. AC Filter mounting bracket is installed on the
forward mounting holes of the filter assembly.
Tighten screws:
• 12.9–14.2 N·m (114–126 in-lbs)

The black trim kit contents include:
• Left rider foot peg bracket

• Right rider foot peg bracket
• Motor cover
• Skid plate
• Charge inlet door cover
• AC Filter mounting bracket with fasteners
• Inlet label (EV3 only)
