3 WAY VALVE REPLACEMENT (CA2513)
This bulletin provides instructions for inspecting and replacing the High Voltage Battery Cooling System 3-Way
Valve on certain 2025MY EV6 (CV1a) vehicles produced from August 21, 2024, through July 7, 2025, which may
display an illuminated Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) and Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U112800 due to a
voltage deviation within the 3-Way Valve. There are no drivability issues associated with this condition. To
resolve this issue, follow the replacement procedure outlined in this bulletin. Before performing the repair, verify
that the vehicle’s VIN is included in the affected range.

NOTICE
A Technical Service Bulletin is a field fix repair program without customer notification that may be performed
during the warranty period. Any dealer requesting to perform this repair outside the warranty period will
require DPSM approval.
This bulletin should only be performed with valid customer of a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) ‘ON’ MUST
be stated in the opening RO and Claim Notes with the related DTC’s stored.
Repair status for a VIN is provided on KDealer+ (Service → Warranty Coverage → Warranty Coverage Inquiry.
If ENG410/CA2513 is complete, subsequent or follow-up concerns must be address according to normal
Service/Warranty Guidelines.

160kW (AWD) → Cooling System → High

→ Removal and Installation → 2WD” in the
applicable Shop Manual on KGIS.
