As part of our ongoing continuous improvement, we have placed the engine used in the
2023-2026 Chevrolet Corvette (Z06 and ZR1) on restriction. Please fill out the questions
below and contact TAC. Please have the engine part number available prior to contacting
TAC.

part restriction.

Also please record the engine EUN number and provide to TAC. This number can be found in the center of the front
cover.
Prior to contacting TAC, please be prepared to answer the following questions as to why engine replacement is
needed:
Is the engine seized?
Is the engine making noise (if so, please provide sound files)?
Is there excessive metal in the engine oil (if so, please provide photos)?
Is there an engine oil or coolant leak (if so, please provide photos)?
Are there any DTCs set (if so, please provide to TAC consultant)?
Is the engine being replaced for a reason not listed above (if so, please be prepared to explain)?

Note: 5.5L LT6 service replacement engines come equipped with a black intake manifold.
If the intake manifold on the original engine is red (RPO BCW) then it will need to be swapped over from the original
engine.
If the intake manifold was damaged or a catastrophic engine failure occurred as outlined in 00-06-01-026T, the
intake will require replacement.
