SERVICE BULLETIN
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mechanical Requested Dress Code
WARNING:
Dress properly to avoid personal injury and damage to the
vehicle
Always wear protective clothing
Do not wear any worn or loose-fitting clothing
Remove jewelry before starting to work
In case of long hair, use hairnet
The illustration on the left shows some of the correct and
incorrect clothing
Sharp edged items should be avoided in order not to
scratch vehicle (i.e. belts, watches, necklace)
2. Protect Seats when Mechanic Starts Working
Seats, trimming, upholstery stuff and carpeting should be
protected with appropriate coverings.
3. Welding on the Chassis
a. Always disconnect the batteries (starting with the negative lead).
b. Disconnect the connectors of electrical and electronic equipment (electronic control
units, sensors and actuators) if they are less than 2 meters away from the chassis
part to be welded or the earth terminal of the welding equipment.
c. The earth terminal should never be attached to vehicle components such as engine,
axles and springs. Arcing on these parts is not permitted, because of the risk of
damage to bearings, springs, etc.
d. The earth terminal must make good contact and be placed as close as possible to
the part to be welded.
e. Plastic pipes, rubber parts and parabolic springs should be well protected against
welding spatter and temperatures higher than 70°.
f. The contact switch must not be in the accessory or contact position. The contact key
should be removed.
g. Reconnect in reversed order of disconnecting. Ensure that a good earth connection
is made between chassis, engine and cab.

HARDWARE (INSTALLATION) APPLICATION
Relay Panel Connection
Before starting the hardware application, disconnect the battery from the vehicle's power supply by
turning the accumulator circuit breaker off. You can turn the accumulator circuit breaker on again after
modification process is complete.
1. Cut the white cable numbered 9401-372, which is 5 meters long, into two pieces, one 2 meters long and the
other 3 meters long.
2. Insert the 9402-152 terminal into the 2-meter-long white cable numbered 9401-372 Temsa.
3. Connect the cable with the terminal connection to pin 7 of socket P01A006-201_1A, to which fuse F110 is
connected.
4. Insert terminal number 9402-78Y into the free end of the cable.
5. Put the cable attached to the terminal through the slotted spiral numbered 9404-94Y and route the cable to
the location of the relay panel trasnsition sockets.
Transition Sockets Location: Behind the relay panel.
6. In the area where the relay panel transition sockets are located, find socket number SP44-03B, where the
spare cables are connected.

7. Remove the white plug on the A pin of the mating socket.
8. Connect the cable labeled with terminal number 9402-78Y to the A pin with the plug removed.
Note: Pay attention to the cable number connected to the A pin on the socket. The SP-CHASIS-01 cable
connection is located on the A pin of the SP44-03B and SP44-03A sockets. Spare cables have blue color.
Switchbox Connection:
1. Remove the cover of the switchbox by unscrewing.

Find the spare cable socket numbered SP44-03A located in the switchbox area.
3. Disconnect the white plug on the A pin of the mating socket.
4. Insert the 9402-78Y terminal into the white cable with part number 9401-372, which is 3 meters long.
5. Connect cable number 9401-372, plugged into terminal number 9402-78Y, to pin A with the plug removed.
Note: The SP-CHASIS-01 cable connection is located on pin A of socket SP44-03B
Front Body-Dashboard Camera Connection
1. Remove the cover section under the dashboard by unscrewing the screws.
2. Find the vehicle connection wiring for the rearview camera numbered HD554131Y located in the front body
compartment.

3. Find the RP999155 cable on the device that connects to the camera, and disconnect the socket connection
shown in the diagram between the RP999155 and HD554131Y 6 pin S-Video Connector.
4. Disconnect the four-pin connector connected to the vehicle wiring harness.

5. Disconnect the BNC socket from the Multiviu.
6. The harness numbered HD554131Y will be scrapped.
7. Connect the 9402-96Y terminal to the leading end of the 3-meter-long white cable with part number 9401372. Pass the cable through the 9404-94Y slotted spiral.
8. Route the cable from the switchbox area to the front body area
9. Disconnect the cable labeled 17A083-(+15)-8 from pin 2 of socket P9300. Isolate the cable on the vehicle.
10. Connect the 3-meter cable passing from the Switchbox area to the front body area to Pin 2 of socket P9300.
11. Find the RP999155 cable on the device that connects to the camera. Connect the socket connection shown
in the figure between the RP999155 and RP554159, 6 pin S-Video Connector.

12. Connect the four-pin socket connection numbered 929504-1 of the installation numbered RP554159 to the
socket numbered P9300.
13. Connect the BNC connector to the BNC input on the Multiviu (MVP12).
14. Install the 9440-001Y numbered fuse with a value of 3A into the F110-numbered fuse slot on the 01A006numbered fuse card located in the relay panel area.
