Summary
Handbook addendum - New Right-to-Repair legislation for Canada (SC25 /50). Canada introduced new Right-to-Repair legislation on 5th October 2025, which requires a new note to customers advising the following: “Bentley does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts, repair services and information necessary to maintain and repair a vehicle” For all Canada specification vehicles, a new addendum has been developed (see the attached examples) which must be installed at the front of the Owner’s handbook.

Technical background
Canada introduced new Right-to-Repair legislation on 5th October 2025, which requires a new note to
customers advising the following:
“Bentley does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts, repair services and information necessary
to maintain and repair a vehicle”
For all Canada specification vehicles, a new addendum has been developed (see the attached examples)
which must be installed at the front of the Owner’s handbook.
NOTE: Only the hard copy of the Owner's handbook requires updating, the Driver's Guide app will be
updated for 27MY.
The Owner’s handbook must always be referred to as the Master version.
Option 1:
The addendum can be accessed as an attachment to this campaign on ElsaPro.
Option 2:
The addendum can also be accessed via the Bentley Hub under Campaigns & Recalls.
Print a hard copy on 100gsm silk A4 paper for installation with the vehicle’s owner handbook, refer to the
cutting guides printed on the addendum to ensure correct sizing.
Remedy
Installation of the Owners Handbook addendum is required. It contains the regional Right to Repair
information necessary for legislative compliance.
Customer notification
Customers do not need to be informed directly of this campaign. The addendum must be installed at the
nearest opportunity.
