Purpose
This document outlines the procedures for correction restricting water flow in Flow Max Faucets.
Safety
The “CAUTION” symbol above is a sign that a safety risk is involved and may cause personal injury
and/or product or property damage if not safely adhered to and within the parameters set forth
in this manual.
Moving parts can pinch, crush, or cut. Keep clear and use caution.
Check Lists
To identify the source of low flow water pressure or faucet leakage, refer to the below checklists.
Low Flow Water Pressure Check List
1. Check for debris inside faucet cartridge, spout aerator (TI-400), nozzle head (TI-400), and water lines.
Make sure there is no debris restricting water flow.
2. Check the campground's water pressure. Safe water pressure in an RV should be 40 - 50 psi. A pressure
regulator keeps your pressure consistent, but it cannot supply the necessary force to boost water
flow. If the water pressure is low, then you may need a booster pump to supply increased water flow
through your RV.
Check the hose line. One bent hose could cause low water pressure. In this case, simply straighten the
hose to solve the pressure problem.
Check the water filter. The water filter could cause low water pressure if it is clogged and needs
replacing. The filter should be changed every six months to a year. Check filters before camping in your
RV to ensure the filter is clean.
Leaking Faucet Check List
If your faucet is leaking at the spout, base or neck it is possible the cartridge is cracked. This will require
a cartridge replacement.
If your faucet has a pin hole leak in the faucet neck, the complete faucet will need replaced.
If the faucet neck is loose, tighten it.
