A/C VENT MODE CHANGE ISSUES/NOISES –
VENTILATOR LEVER INSPECTION & REPLACEMENT
SUBJECT:
This TSB supersedes 25-HA-001H to update the ventilator lever part number, add the cam mode
guide in the Parts Information Table, and to modify the Service Procedure to replace the cam
mode guide during the replacement of the ventilator lever.
IMPORTANT
This field action requires justification in the form of a customer concern, and a confirmed case for
the related symptom outlined in the TSB, prior to any repair work. If justification requirements are
not met, any submitted claims are subject to debit. 5 / 60,000 New Vehicle Limited Warranty
applies. See Warranty Information section for more details.

Remove the ventilator lever screw (H) and
remove the ventilator lever arm (I).

Remove the screw and washer (J) from the old
ventilator lever and place it onto the new part
and reinstall the new ventilator lever onto the
HVAC box.

Upload the photo to STUI.
NOTE: If the STUI camera function is
NOT used, write the last 6 digits of the
VIN and date of repair on a piece of

Before reinstalling the mode actuator and
replacing the cam mode guide, inspect the
position of the floor door lever (K).

If the floor door lever is horizontal as
shown (FAIL), then correct the position
by pushing the lever downward as
shown in the second photo (PASS).

Replace the cam mode guide with the newly
supplied part and re-install the actuator in the
reverse order of removal.

Reinstall the main crash pad in the reverse
order of removal process.
NOTICE
• Make sure the crash pad fits onto the
guide pins correctly.
• Before tightening the bolts, make sure
the crash pad wire harnesses are NOT
pinched.
• Make sure the connectors are plugged
in properly, and the antenna lead is
connected properly.
• Make sure that each of the assembly
components operates properly.
• Replace any damaged clips or pin type retainers (crash pad side cover
clip P/N: 84747-3Y000)
