Diagnostic address 46
* — Reasons for activation including activation date and time:
— measurement value blocks 18 — 24.
Information about measurement value block 18:
The trigger reason "Alarm triggered by ILM" means that the alarm siren was triggered by a command of the
convenience control unit J393. This means that the real reason for the alarm going off can be found in
measurement values 21-24.
TT (8J) model year 2010 — 2014:

command of the convenience control unit J393. This means that the real reason for the alarm going off can
be found in the measurement values "history data of anti-theft protection".
A5 (FU), AG (FN), A6 e-tron (GH), Q5 (GU), Q6 (GF):
Diagnostic address 0009
* Reasons for activation including data and time:
— measured values “History data anti-theft protection’
— measured values “History data of panic alarm”
— measured values “Anti-theft alarm history data for alarm trigger”
Information about measurement value “anti-theft alarm history data for alarm triggering":
The data from the alarm horn can be read here.
The reason “Activation by external system / anti-theft alarm system master” means that the alarm siren was
triggered by a command given by the Electronic Central Electrical module J519. This means the actual
reason why the alarm was triggered can be found in the measured values “history data anti-theft
protection”.
If you cannot find any plausible data in the measured values listed above, please check whether the vehicle is
equipped with PR number 5P2 “Rear occupant detection”.
If the vehicle is equipped with this PR number, ask the customer if the occupant detection could have been triggered
instead of the anti-theft alarm.
To help distinguish between the two:
When the occupant detection is triggered, the acoustic warning _is made by the regular horn rather than the anti-theft
alarm horn.
