Remember to document high-voltage cell modules which have been replaced.
If high-voltage cell modules of the high-voltage battery are replaced as part of repair work on the high-voltage
system, it is required to document the serial number of every replaced module.
Contact importer before disposing of high-voltage modules
Audi AG is extremely interested in analyzing high-voltage modules which have been replaced. Please do not
dispose of removed high-voltage modules without prior consultation.
For this purpose, please contact your importer to clarify the further procedure.

To ensure better traceability in the event of an analysis request or recycling of high-voltage modules which have
been removed, it is necessary to document the data described below.
Audi AG is extremely interested in analyzing high-voltage modules which have been replaced. So that processing
can be performed, and transport organized as quickly as possible, please get in touch with your importer.

A
A high-voltage battery or high-voltage module must always be classified before removing the
battery/module. Without classification, a high-voltage battery or high-voltage module cannot be
transported or recycled.
If a high-voltage module or high-voltage battery is replaced while repairing on an electric Audi during repair work
(including field campaigns) the following documentation must be performed: - Unless a different approach has been
agreed on or has been specified (e.g. in the campaign description or via TAC instruction).
Step 1:
Using a waterproof pen, document the chassis number of the vehicle (VIN) from which the high-voltage cell module
was removed on every removed high-voltage module.
Step 2:
Document the serial number of every removed high-voltage cell module by uploading a picture of the information
label from the removed high-voltage cell module to Doc-IT located in Audi Warranty Online. The warranty claim will
not be paid until the information label is uploaded to Doc-IT for every high-voltage cell module removed.
The serial numbers of the high-voltage modules can be found on the label on the relevant module (Figure 1, and
Figure 2).
