No relevant event memory entries are logged in diagnostic address 008B.

Software issue in the exterior door handle sensor.

This PSS may apply to vehicles still within the new model launch repair authorization period!

— For vehicles still in the launch phase, the workshop must create a web ticket with the Technical
Assistance Center (TAC) per the repair authorization, in addition to entering the vehicle into the PSS
database. Reference this TSB in the first line of the TAC case.

1. Diagnose the vehicle according to the instructions listed below. If the customer’s vehicle condition matches the
condition listed in the Technical Background of this PSS TSB, explain to the customer that a solution is

expected to be available by the end of the 2" quarter of 2026 (subject to change) and that no repairs are
necessary at this point.

2. Donot replace any components for this condition since this will not resolve the customer’s concern.

3. Create a PSS record in the PSS database via the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link found in Audi Now;
Service | AU-US > Pending Service Solutions (PSS).

Applies to vehicles with diagnostic address 0013

The affected door can be identified using the symptom number allocated to the event memory stored in diagnostic
address 0013 “U112200: Data bus implausible message (symptom number)”.

Run test plan “Read/erase event memory’ in the door control unit for the affected door/doors using GFF (Door
electronics 0042 / 0052 / 0OOBB / OOBC -> Functions.)

Then upload and check the diagnostic log to see whether the entry “Sensor for exterior door handle - no
communication” was read out under the respective function test.

Applies to vehicles with 008B (and without diagnostic address 0013)

Run the program “Read/erase event memory” for all doors in the corresponding door control units using GFF.
(Door electronics 0042 / 0052 / OOBB / 0OBC -> Functions.)
Then upload and check the diagnostic log to see whether the entry “Sensor for exterior door handle - no
communication” was read out under the respective function test.

Applies to all vehicles

If this entry is stored in one or more door control units, please postpone the repair as there is currently no
repair for the customer complaint.

The issue can temporarily be remedied by opening and closing the doors.

A sustainable solution is currently being implemented. The measure is currently planned to be available by
the end of the 2 quarter of 2026.
