Workshop findings:

The following DTC is logged in transmission electronics control unit J217 (diagnostic address 0002):
* P060A00: Control module internal processor monitoring malfunction (symptom 20899).
and/or
The following DTC is logged in the control unit for drive system and running gear functions -J1312- (diagnostic

address 812C):
* P41FD700: Transmission control module warning light request active (symptom 385025).

Service
A combined software update for various control units must be performed on this vehicle.
Try to reproduce the customer complaint (based on the description/cause of the issue), so that it can be

clearly assigned to this TSB. The following repair must only be carried out if all the criteria (model/type,

chassis number, engine/motor, gearbox code, PR number(s), part number, software version, code, etc.)

apply exactly. Otherwise, this solution will not eliminate the problem and repeat repairs may be necessary.

In such a case, the warranty claim may be rejected, and the cost of the parts may be charged back.
This bulletin replaces PSS TSB 2079003, 37 PSS Gearbox warning lamp, drive system fault with DTC PO60A00;

P1FD700.
Please perform the software update described in TSB 2079690, 00 Combined software update 03.10.00/C

(28.13.01) KD2.
Please remove all electronic auxiliary equipment (e.g. electronic tachograph at OBD socket) from the vehicle. This

equipment could have an impact on the vehicle electronics, triggering this complaint.
