Technical Background
Orifice size inside the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (-G400-) plug housing is too small, causing sensor circuit
faults.

Production Solution
Improvements to Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (-G400-) plug housing to increase orifice size.

Service

1. Access the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (-G400-) with plug housing. See Repair Group 20, Fuel Supply,
Sensors, in Elsa.
2. Inspect the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor with plug housing to verify the current component installed.

Figure 1: Highlights the difference in assembly appearance with the addition of printed font.

Figure 2: Highlights the difference in assembly appearance with the addition of an indent/notch.

3.

If the vehicle is equipped with the old Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor assembly shown above, replace the
complete Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor assembly with plug housing.

If the vehicle is equipped with the new Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor assembly shown above, further
diagnosis is required. In this case, this TSB no longer applies.

4. Test drive vehicle and re-scan for DTC’s. If faults return, further diagnosis is needed.
