Download the .zip from PPN to your workshop PC and extract all files.

Move the .exe file from the .zip folder to a minimum 1 Gig blank USB stick.

Switch the Windows user of the VAS 6292 from Technician to Manager. Password "vagadm" is needed.

Open task manager and close the Alignment software.

Insert the USB stick into the VAS 6292 PC

Open file explorer and start the .exe program on the USB stick.

Follow the .pdf instruction included in the .zip file to update the software.

Starting with the Spec Update V2025.0.1, a VAS 6292/10 yearly license key card is needed.

See SPTL2412 for more information on the license.

The VAS 6292/10 will NOT be Auto-Shipped and must be ordered yearly when the Q1 update is available.

The VAS 6292/10 code is typed into the VAS 6292. The “dashes” (-) must be included.

e.g. 1A2B-3C4D-5E6F-7G8H

The VAS 6292/10 is good for ONLY one calendar year of updates. (NOT a rolling 12 months)

Example: all of 2025 updates: 2025.0.1 & 2025.0.2 & 2025.0.3 & 2025.0.4 ONLY.

NOTE: If the VAS 6292/10 is first used for the third update “2025.0.3” you will also be able to install

“2025.0.4”. To install the next update “2026.0.1” you will need a new VAS 6292/10.
