This document outlines the steps required to remedy the front gear box movement

during transportation on the initial run of the Ember Touring Edition.

1. Remove the propane tanks and tray from the front gear box using a drill with a

9/16” socket.

Note: Do not remove LP regulator and line.

2. Remove battery (if installed). Disconnect wires located at the bottom of the

250amp breaker from the breaker. Then pull wires through the back access

hole of the gear box.
3. Unsecure the front gear box from the A-frame using a drill with a 3/8” socket.

There are approximately 9 screws with washers securing the gear box to the Aframe. Tilt the gear box forward.
4. Using a tape measure, measure and mark 5-1/4” straight from the rear of the

pre-installed tube towards the front wall of the trailer. Repeat on the other side

of the trailer.

IMPORTANT! Do not take measurement from along the A-frame tube.

5. Place the 59” tube provided in item kit# 95001706 next to the marking and

ensure even alignment from side to side and front to back.
6. Using a drill and 11/32” drill bit, pre-drill a hole through the 59” tube into the

A-frame.
7. Using a drill and 9/16” socket, secure the 59” tube to the A-frame with a 3/816x1” bolt provided in item kit# 95001706.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 on the other side of the trailer. Verify the tube is secured

to the A-frame.

9. Cap ends of the 59” tube with the square tube caps provided in item kit#

95001706.

10. Install the double-sided acrylic tape provided in item kit# 95001706 onto the

59” tube.

IMPORTANT! Do not remove top film from acrylic tape.
11. Tilt the gear box back and place it onto the tubes that are secured to the Aframe. Be sure to center and align the gear box with the existing holes in the

front two tubes.

12. Bring the battery wires back through the rear access hole of the gear box and

reconnect to the 250amp breaker.

IMPORTANT! Ensure small wire eyelet is placed below large wire eyelet.
13. Attach the gear box to all three tubes that are secured to the A-frame with

14x1” screws using a 3/8” socket. The 59” tube will be secured to the gear box

using (5) 14x1” screws.

IMPORTANT! Ensure that the gear box is secured with a fastener between the

front of the LP tray and the door of the gear box into the short support tube on

the A-frame. If there is not a fastener in this location, one should be added

(provided).
14. Verify gear box is secure to tubes and clean/remove metal shavings.

15. Reinstall propane tray, propane tanks, and battery (if applicable).
