IF YOU CONFIRM
The AEB warning was displayed, and one or more of the following DTCs are stored as
Current:
•

U2752-88 for “Ethernet circuit” stored in the ADAS control unit 2.

•

U275F-88 for “Ethernet circuit” stored in the Distance Sensor control unit.
HINT: The ESM shows U275F-88 as being stored in the LASER/RADAR control
unit and in CONSULT 4 it is displayed as Distance Sensor.

ACTION
1.

Confirm the current Distance Sensor control unit part number.

2.

Reprogram the Distance Sensor control unit, if applicable.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Using CONSULT 4, confirm the current Distance Sensor control unit (ECU) part
number and write it on the repair order.
•

If it matches one of the part numbers in Table A, continue to step 2 below.

•

If it does not match one of the part numbers in Table A, this bulletin does not
apply. Go back to ASIST for further diagnostic and repair information.

If you are not familiar with the CONSULT Reprogramming procedure, refer to the
CONSULT Operation Manual and the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for steps to
reprogram an Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Follow all precautions in both manuals to
prevent possible personal injury or death and/or damage to the ECU.

2.

Reprogram the Distance Sensor control unit.
IMPORTANT: When using CONSULT 4, follow the “Vehicle Menu” and select the
Vehicle reprogramming option under “Tool Menu” to reprogram the ECU.

3.

After erasing all DTCs, print a copy of the CONSULT screen showing the before
and after part numbers of the control unit and attach it to the repair order.
