Summary
After taking in to dealer for recall diagnostics and higher viscosity oil change a couple months later. Heard a noise while driving on interstate, lost cruise control, stability system, engine light came on with a ECS. Kept driving on the interstate until we got to a red light and the engine died. Cranked starter but hard to start and ran rough and died multiple times. Feathered throttle to get over 1K RPMs to get it off the street. Towed to nearest Chev dealer. P300 code. Tore engine down. Here is what dealer documented: CUSTOMER STATES CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON WITH SERVICE TRACTION & SERVICE ESC MESSAGES. ENGINE IS RUNNING ROUGH AND WILL STALL. TOW IN. Valve Spring Replacement - Replacing the faulty valve spring on the cylinder 7 exhaust side is necessary as it is causing the exhaust valve to remain stuckopen, leading to engine misfire and over 80% leakage in that cylinder. This service can help restore proper engine compression and improve engine performance. Op.1 CEL -CEL: Customer states 1. replaced the exhaust valve spring and valve spring seal. reinstalled components with new seals and cleared dtcs. started engine and verified the engine starts and runs but having multiple cylinder misfires. reset engine fuel trims and brought engine to operating temperature and let it run for some time. other cylinder misfires went away but still found a dead misfire on cylinder 7. removed and swapped spark plugs with no change. noted the spark plugs have some exhaust build up on the tip due to the faulty exhaust valve spring. performed a static compression test and found the compression to be 175 psi and a running compression test with a smooth build up to 125 psi. checked spark and spark was good. tested the injector system using the AFIT test and found the test to pass indicating no faults with the fuel injectors. performed a cylinder leak down test and found no cylinder leakage coming from cylinder 7. put engine back together and cleared dtcs. reset the throttle

Summary
Head on collision on February 19, 2026 in a 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel. Air bags did not deploy anywhere in the vehicle even though driver was traveling 55-60 MPH. The driver-side power sliding door latch, motor and cable system on my 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite failed. Honda performed Recall A88 (sliding door handle cable repair) in 2021. After this repair the door began intermittently failing to close fully and would close about 80% before the sensor triggered it to reopen. This continued until this week when the door suddenly stopped latching completely. The automatic door buttons no longer work and the door can only be moved manually. I believe my vehicle should also be included in recalls Z33 and O36 addressing sliding door latch failures affecting similar 2019 Odyssey vehicles. The failed components are available for inspection upon request. This defect creates a serious passenger safety hazard. Because the door will not latch, it opens while driving. The automatic function does not work and the door can be moved manually but will not latch. This creates risk of passenger ejection, especially children, and the possibility of the door opening during a crash. The vehicle is unsafe to operate. Yes. The failure was reproduced and confirmed by a Honda dealership that inspected and diagnosed the sliding door failure. The vehicle was inspected by a Honda dealership and I was charged a diagnostic fee. Honda refused recall or goodwill coverage because my VIN is not included. I request the repair be performed free under recalls Z33 and O36 and the diagnostic fee reimbursed. I am waiting for NHTSA inspection and request Honda be required to include my vehicle and repair it at no cost. Before total failure the door would close about 80% and automatically reopen. When it stopped working this week, the dashboard displayed a “Left Sliding Door Problem” warning and the vehicle produced continuous beeping while driving.

Summary
I was driving vehicle and heard a loud sound like an explosion. I looked up and there was a big hole in my sunroof. The sunroof exploded. Yes you can look at it. It proceeded to crack and glass flew everywhere. Danger was that glass flew everywhere, got in my hair and could have been way worse. It is very dangerous and lucky I didn’t wreck. I have no idea was this is not deemed bad enough for recall. Audi has the vehicle and the case has been turned over to their corporate engineering department. They are going to determine if they will fix it which I know from reading this is a recurring issue. There were no warnings. Insurance knows but Audi is responsible.
