Summary

Transmission failure, lots of jerking. Also I think there are some electrical components messed up. As when my car is off no keys in the ignition, it sounds as if the engine try to turn over. Also when no keys in the ignition loud clicking noise comes from down by the transmission. Received multiple information dashboards messages started about 2 years ago.”Trasmission Failure” Only happened once each year in the past 2 years. I’d let the car sit for the weekend and then it would be fine to drive. Also related to this issue when the loud clicking noise comes from the Transmission while the car is off when I go to start the car it won’t turn over have to pump the gas pedal or put it in neutral and it will turn over. Also have had other dashboard messages a lot recently, but haven’t drove my car in 2 weeks as it’s unsafe as will stall up at stoplights. These include “Transmission overheated”. Brought it to Advanced Auto part to try getting codes to see what’s wrong, but all that would pop up on their reader was “Error”. Date below is when i received the first Transmission failure message. Happened again in May 2025, and now the car is undrivable as of February 10 2026. Video I’m attaching is the noise the transmission makes when the car is turned off with no keys in the ignition. Will not let me upload it. Can send it in an email when you respond. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Summary

I had the recall done about a week ago on my Audi 2019 etron. The recall was the software for the rear camera. Now I have noticed that when I am driving and water splashes on the windshield the auto wipers do a single wipe like normal, however the next time after that when I come to a complete stop, like at a light, the rear wiper then goes off once. It had happened multiple times, and that is the only thing that is consistent when it does happen. Today it happened once in the morning when I came to a stop light and then again tonight at a stop sign. It didn’t happen at any other point and I drive over an hour in each commute. Both times the wipers had auto activated to wipe the front windshield at a point between two stops. It doesn’t do it until I come to a complete stop. I wanted to report this since it never happened in the past.

Summary

The wipers are turning on randomly by themselves, even when the control switch is set to the “off” position. This has occurred multiple times and happens without any input or activation from me. The issue appears to be intermittent but persistent, and it raises concerns about a potential electrical or control system malfunction.

Vehicle Model: ODYSSEY

Summary

With adaptive cruise control engaged and set on any of the four options, my odyssey’s speed slows down for a short time period then speeds up again as I approach the vehicle I intend to pass. This happens when my odyssey is about a car length behind the vehicle I intend to pass. This happens when I’m passing a vehicle on the left or right side. This doesn’t happen every time I pass a vehicle with adaptive cruse control engaged. I had this odyssey in a Honda dealership shop today, February 26, 2026, to hopefully fix this issue. I can’t confirm this but was told by the service agent at the dealership that when this happens, the brake lights will turn on. The fix the dealership service recommended was to set the adaptive cruse control to the minimum following distance setting. I’m going to quote the service technician’s written comment word for word. “Have found this to be a pretty normal symptom of the adaptive cruse system.” I take that as meaning, the service technician has seen this before and it is normal for this vehicle. If this is “normal”, there is a major safety issue with this odyssey. On the way home from the appointment at the dealership service department I had the adaptive cruse control at it’s closest following setting. I passed a vehicle on the left and this issue happened again. When I got home, I called the service manager and told him my odyssey did have the same issue of slowing down even though the adaptive cruse control was set to the closest following distance setting. One more thing to note, the service technician did take my odyssey for a test drive and did experience and there for confirm the above stated issue with the vehicle slowing down. I did speak with the service manager at the Honda dealership about this issue. He was unaware of any other vehicle with this issue and said he would check into it and get back to me. I purchased this odyssey new on January 16, 2025. This problem existed since the day I have owned it.

Summary

This is a plug in hybrid vehicle. The (ECH) electric coolant heater is prone to failure. This failure can lead to loss of power and might cause the hybrid battery pack to not regulate its temperature leading to a fire. This is a high failure rate with some saying it has failed more than once. Jeep 4xe Fans on Facebook has been doing some tracking of numbers and shows a 50% failure rate with some failing after being replaced. This failure is not being addressed by Jeep.

Vehicle Model: MODEL Y

Model Year: 2024

Summary

Vehicle: 2023 Tesla Model Y VIN: [XXX] Mileage: Approximately 40,531 miles Software Version: 2025.45.9 FSD (Supervised) Version: v14.2.2.4 While driving on [XXX] near the [XXX] entrance in Mission Viejo, California, the vehicle was operating under Full Self-Driving (Supervised) mode. As the freeway lane ended/merged, the vehicle unexpectedly performed a sudden full stop at freeway speed. There was no visible obstruction in front of the vehicle. Multiple vehicles behind me had to brake abruptly to avoid a rear-end collision. The system did not provide any audible or visual warning before the sudden braking. This has created a serious safety risk due to the high-speed freeway environment. This issue appears to be related to lane-ending or merge interpretation by the FSD system. I am concerned that this behavior could result in a rear-end collision. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
