Step 3.2: applicable to the Q7PU / Q8 / e-tron / e-tron GT

Replacing all video cables between ZFAS and left and right exterior mirrors

All video cables should only be replaced if the issue persists after replacing the exterior mirror
mountings (refer to step 2).

If the issue persists after performing step 2, please replace all video cables between driver assist systems control
unit J1121 and overhead view cameras (left R244 and right R245):

Components for wiring harness for vehicle interior

Only use adapter cables from ETKA diagram 971-805 for the wiring harness for vehicle interior to the front and rear
cameras and to the left door coupling point TTVL and the right door coupling point TTVR (refer to figure 2).

Item 6 determines the length of the cable (not including the adapter 1-5).
Items 1-5 define the adaptation, meaning that all connector versions are possible.

The connectors must be unplugged from the faulty cable, but the cable must remain in the vehicle (also
refer to parts bulletin 0-413).

Route the cable along the interior wiring harness (Figure 3).

Also replace the two door wiring harnesses (Figure 4) as shown below:
* Wiring harness for driver door XXX.971.029.XX (diagram 972-033 / 972-330).
* Wiring harness for front passenger door XXX.971.030.XX (diagram 972-035 / 972-350).
