Some 2023-2026 F-Super Duty vehicles that require replacement of the heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) module may have previously experienced a PMI that will not complete during installation. This may be due to a concern with the PMI application within the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. To correct this condition, navigate to the FDRS application -HVAC - Programmable Module Installation (PMI)-. Click on the download button (if not already downloaded) or the refresh button on the right side of the application (if the application is already downloaded). Hover your mouse over the application name and verify the application version reads -G2327867-5.0- or higher. Once the application is confirmed to be updated, run the HVAC PMI application.
