To verify if the vehicle has an active Connectivity Package (free or paid) enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) in Professional Technician System (PTS) then navigate to the upper blue tab titled Connected Vehicle > Vehicle Software Subscriptions. It will clearly state if the vehicle has a trial or paid subscription, along with the expiration date. Some 2024-2026 Nautilus and 2025-2026 Explorer/Aviator vehicles equipped with power folding mirrors may exhibit concerns with the auto folding mirror functionality not matching the status selected by the switch in the center display screen menu. Examples include auto folding not operating when the switch is enabled and/or auto folding continuing to function when the switch is disabled. This may be due to the software in the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM). Power folding mirror operation from the physical button is not affected by this condition. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q4 2026. Replacement or reprogramming of the accessory protocol interface module (APIM), DDM, or PDM will not resolve this condition. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.<br /><br /> If the vehicle exhibits this condition, submit a Vehicle Concern Report. Summary

2025-2026 Expedition XL vehicles that are equipped as a Special Service Vehicle (SSV) (minor feature code TDAGZ) will not open or close the power liftgate/tailgate by pressing the button on the key fob. Additionally, these vehicles may exhibit a symptom where the horn does not sound when the key fob lock button is pressed. Expedition XL vehicles equipped as a SSV have the rear liftgate/tailgate power open/close feature omitted from being operated via the key fob. Pressing the key fob liftgate/tailgate button only locks/unlocks the rear cargo area. The power lift feature will power open/close if the button is pressed on the gate within 45 seconds of pressing the key fob. This functionality cannot be modified and no repairs should be attempted. The Workshop Manual (WSM) has been updated. Refer to WSM, Section 501-03 > Description and Operation > Body Closures - System Operation and Component Description and scroll to the section titled -Power Liftgate - SSV (Special Service Vehicle) Operation-. Some 2024 Ranger vehicles may exhibit a -Front Parking Sensors Not Available Sensor Blocked See Manual- message displayed on the instrument panel cluster (IPC) when driving in cold ambient weather conditions with no diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored in the image processing module A (IPMA). The warning message may appear multiple times during initial low speed acceleration and when coming to a stop. The warning may stop reappearing after the ambient temperature rises well above 32°F (0°C). If all parking sensors are free of blockages and there are no parking sensor related DTCs stored in the IPMA, replace both front active park assist sensors (base part number: 15K859) located in the passenger and driver fender lip mouldings. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 413-13C for the removal and installation procedure. For claiming, use causal part 15K859 and labor operations 12651D8P and 12651D8PT.
