Driver assist failed and brakes failed when vehicle veered to left on its own..Brakes and steering failed when trying to correct failure.. Overcorrection caused vehicle to veer off road and over a sign and continue for approximately 50 feet. Vehicle is currently at State Farm towing lot. My safety and others were put at risk with "reckless" driving. The problem has not been reproduced. A State Farm claims adjuster will inspect the vehicle today 2/18/26 or tomorrow. No warning lamps or messages appeared.

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 MPH, the vehicle shuddered and was difficult to maneuver. No warning lights were illuminated. The failure had occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the steering damper, inner tie rods, adjuster sleeve, outer tie rods, and the drag link assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to a different dealer, Vallejo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (4325 Sonoma Blvd, Vallejo, CA 94589), where it was diagnosed and determined that the steering damper, inner tie rods, adjuster sleeve, outer tie rods, and the drag link assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,500.

Lifter failed on my Chevy Tahoe 6.2L engine at ~75K miles in September 2025. One lifter bank was replaced. No reason for lifter failure was given. Less than 5 months later the other lifter bank has failed and damaged the cam shaft. Again, no reason for failure was provided. Failed lifters can cause catastrophic engine failure, which is incredibly dangerous when the vehicle is in motion. No check engine lights or and warnings occur with the lifter failure, it is only identified by the driver through the tapping noise from the engine. Even a cursory review of forums and complaints reveals that lifter failure is widespread on this engine and that manufacturing defects have caused issues with this power train dating back to 2019, not just the recalled 2021-2024 models.

There is a recall for the trailer brake control and trailer wiring for light. I bought the truck to tow my 5th wheel trailer and have travel plans starting in march of this year.. ram has put a stop sale on 450k trucks because of this recall. The dealers are fixing the unsold trucks on the lot before they fix customer vehicles that have already been purchased. All the dealerships in Arizona are telling me it could be 3-6 months before my truck is fixed.. so I can’t safely tow a trailer or go on my trips. So basically I have a 1 ton truck that is useless to tow a trailer

Code P200A and P2D2D showed up, linking to an intake manifold issue. After researching, shows connected to Recall VB1. After speaking with FCA Recall department, they said that the recall was completed. To my knowledge, the vehicle is having the same related issues as the state previous to the recall. RE: NHTSA SAFETY RECALL 25V695 To whom it may concern, In August 2025 we took our 2016 CMAX into the Ford Dealer we purchased it from to have the check out the back-up camera that was not working and have a service done. They charges us $225.00 to check it out and then wanted to service it for several hundred dollars more. There was no mention at that time about a recall, and after re-reading the bulletin you sent out, that did not come until October. The online status was that any repairs were not to begin until June 2026. Both of us are seniors and being concerned of the safety issues with the camera, we looked for the best price to repair/replace the camera and found a company, G&O Body in Placerville that did the repair for $618.25 In November.. So, at this point, we are out of pocket $843.25 to fix an issue that was put under free repair thru the recall. I would like to know how to apply for reimbursement for this camera replacement cost.
