Summary
Before my vehicle reached the 100,000-mile mark, the check engine light began appearing intermittently. I brought the car to my local dealership multiple times, but they were unable to provide a diagnosis and repeatedly reset the light. Once the light remained on permanently, the dealer finally identified a known Honda recall/extended warranty issue and replaced the spark plugs at no cost. However, approximately six months after that repair, the check engine light returned. The dealership has now diagnosed a failure in both the front and rear catalytic converters at a cost of $5200 to replace them. I need to replace to pass my state of Illinois car emissions tests. I have been working with Honda Goodwill Assistance (Case #161-655-70), but their offer to cover only 20% of the replacement cost is unacceptable. This failure is not a standard "wear and tear" issue; it is a direct consequence of the spark plug issues I repeatedly attempted to address before my warranty expired. I was told the 20% determination was based on my vehicle exceeding 100,000 miles, but this fails to account for the fact that I brought the car in for this specific issue multiple times while it was still under warranty. I am looking for Honda corporate to acknoweldge the new spark plugs they directed my dealer to install caused this issue and cover the cost of the repairs. My local Honda dealer service manager, Brian, is willing to speak on this issue on my behalf. He can be reached at [XXX] . Summary
The ABS module failed in June of 2025. Ram originally told me the part was on back order 6-8 months. In December they said there were 100 ABS modules on order for our area. In January 2026 they informed the mechanic that is doing the work that there is still parts on back order and it could be another 1-2 months. Today 2/25/26 the mechanic was told there are 265 modules on back order and it can be another 2-3 months. The truck now has a throttle body control issue that is stemming from the ABS issue. The truck is not operable at the moment because of this back order. I have been waiting for 7 months for this part and there are no alternatives on the market. If Ram does not get a part available for me I will either have to find a used one that hopefully isn't going to fail or be out of a $50,000 truck. This is a problem that many people have had according to all of the RAM forums. RAM needs to find a solution because the consumer already paid for the vehicle so parts should be available.

I’m wanting to report the open recalls on my vehicle. I feel like there has been plenty of time to accommodate for these parts needed for my vehicle. The camera glitched for the first time on me about 6 months ago as I was using it to back up and the glitch caused me to back up into a pole that I didn’t see. I was unable to stop fast enough before I hit the pole as it was glitching. I need these parts from these 2 recalls fixed as soon as possible. Especially if my brakes can go out at any minute. I cannot afford to pay out of pocket for these. Thank you

Summary
I remote started my truck, and when I got to it there was smoke and a flame coming from the rear power window. The remote start activates the rear defrosters, which started the electrical issues. I shut off the engine, and a loud pop followed, which was the shattering of the driver side rear window. The flame went out, and could have easily ignited the tarp covering the truck bed. There were no warnings on the console for the issue, and no recalls available. I have seen similar recall, but in a different state and back in 2022. This leaves me with a shattered window in the back, which is unsafe for visibility, and a bill to pay due to manufacturing errors for a feature in the truck. The rear window is all melted, and the glass is chipping away.

Summary
I was driving my vehicle home after a nearby out of town errand. I was on US-95 between Potlatch ID and Moscow ID which is a very hilly, curvy 2-lane 60mph highway with little to no cell service. As I ascended my first big hill, my engine light came on flashing and the ride became noticeably bumpy. I could not call anyone for many miles yet, so I put on my safety hazards and continued driving, hoping to make it to town. With each hill my car became more unstable and seemed to be struggling to accelerate. Once I had cell service just outside of Moscow I called my husband to tell him what was happening, where I was at and proceeded to head to an auto repair shop. Once I drove into Moscow, my car was incredibly shaky and noisy and the engine seemed to struggle to stay engaged at stop lights. I brought it to Hive auto repair and they told me that my engine was misfiring, but that they would run a level 1 diagnostic that day. When they called with the results, they confirmed the following information: Scanned for DTCs and found P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected. On this 3.6L engine, Cylinder 1 is located beneath the intake manifold, requiring intake removal for further access and testing.-- I continued to level 2 inspection and removal of the manifold which showed significant problems within the engine at Cylinder Head 1. There was oil intrusion and low compression, consistent with warping of the head. They said that this was a known issue with this engine on Stellantis vehicles because of an EGR valve on cylinder 1 2018/2022. Even though I had my Jeep regularly serviced at McGee Jeep in Barre VT, they never tested for this because it wasn't recommended or in the scheduled maintenance. But when I spoke with them they confirmed this is a known issue. I understand it is a severe, dangerous and expensive repair, but usually occurs after the warranty expires. I now have an unsafe, undriveable vehicle with a $14k repair pending.
