The 'Gear' on the drivers seat towards middle of car (right hand drivers seat) snapped in some fashion and the seat rocks. I hear this is quite common in this car and that it costs upwards of $2,000 to repair because the entire seat has to be replaced.

Summary
Airbags did not deploy during a significant accident where (self) Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie 2024 truck was involved in 2 front on collisions hitting 2 different vehicles at approx 65 mph (about 5 mins apart) including a 3rd part to the accident with a rear collision by a full speed tractor trailer moving the (dodge) truck about 200 ft. into the 2nd parked vehicle (blue sedan). Dodge truck (self) was not drivable after the initial accident into the chevy truck. No auto breaking and no frontal collision warning (uncertain if they are standard for the trucks or an option) occurred. The vehicle was towed and in a tow lot (is available for inspection). There is a police report and followed up with an ER visit same day. At least 3 vehicles were totaled due to this accident. The initially hit vehicle (white chevy truck) was the cause of the accident.

I am writing to report a serious safety concern regarding the rear brakes. The components are producing heavy squeaking and grinding noises, leading to concerns that the system is defective and unreliable for emergency braking. Additionally, the excessive noise level is a public distraction that negatively impacts the driving environment for others.

Vehicle Model: ODYSSEY
Model Year: 2018
Summary
Issue Description: My 2018 Honda Odyssey (VIN: [XXX] ) has a total failure of the Multipurpose Camera, permanently disabling the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), and Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS). In addition to these, the regular Cruise Control is also disabled. These are primary safety systems, not elective conveniences. Persistent Failure: Errors occur immediately upon every startup. Mid-Drive Danger: Systems have deactivated multiple times while in motion, causing sudden, unpredictable loss of driver-assist features at highway speeds. Total Loss of Control: Both Adaptive and Standard Cruise Control are completely disabled, forcing manual-only operation. Infrastructure Failure: The failure prevents the vehicle from recognizing lane markings (RDM/LKAS), leaving the car unable to assist in steering corrections. Safety Risk: The vehicle can no longer perform emergency braking or provide collision alerts, significantly increasing the risk of high-speed crashes. This is a premature failure of a non-wear safety electronic at 91k miles. It is a severe safety defect that leaves the vehicle unequipped with the crash-prevention technology it was designed to have. Manufacturer Response: American Honda (Case #16167889) and NCDS (Case #XXX) denied assistance, citing the expired 3yr/36k warranty. I contend this is an extension of the known electrical architecture defects in this model year (e.g., Recall 23V-431), and a component intended for the life of the vehicle should not fail such that it disables multiple safety systems simultaneously. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Summary
The contact owns a 2020 BMW X3. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 MPH, the vehicle began to shake with the message, "Pull Over Engine Oil Pressure Low Pull Over Stop Driving to Avoid Engine Failure". The contact immediately pulled over to the side of the road, inspected the vehicle, and became aware there was no issue with the oil. The vehicle was towed to a certified mechanic, who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the oil pump was defective due to the oil pump being manufactured with plastic. The mechanic confirmed it was a known issue, and the oil pumps were changed to a metal material to avoid the failure. The dealer was contacted, and the new metal pump part, PN: 11418646454, was ordered. The vehicle was scheduled to be repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was purchased at a dealer not associated with BMW, and the cost of the repair would not be covered. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
