Summary
My wife was backing out of a parking space and her car did not give a warning nor did it stop as she hit another parked car. Damage to both cars was substantial and if the car was operating properly she should NOT have been able to hit another car in the manner she did. The car has been recalled for similar problems. I filed a complaint with Lexus who did an investigation and indicate there was no problem with the system. I can only say that if a person was behind the car she would have most likely run them down. The car DID NOT STOP as it was supposed to.

Summary
On 3 different times while towing the trailer I was getting beeped at and flashed by other trucks cars etc. I learned that for hours I did not have rear brake lights or turn signals, I had to trouble shoot all the trailer wires and found broken connectors that fed the signal, brakes and running lights. first time the right side rear of the trailer lost all lighting, 2nd time the rear left signal and brake lights were not working and 3rd today the right side rear marker lights were not working, all had broken connectors and plugs that would separate while using the trailer.

I was traveling on the freeway at approximately 70 mph, at about 5:15 pm. I was not using cruise control. There was no one in front of me for maybe a quarter mile. Suddenly and without warning, the car slammed on the brakes. A yellow alert came up on the dash telling me the Forward Collision system had been activated. The red warning lights at the front of the dashboard (the heads-up display) also flashed. The road was dry, I was on an entirely straight section of road, and there were no shadows. Besides scaring me half to death, if someone had been immediately behind me, they could easily have slammed into me. The car has not been inspected by the dealer, etc. I believe OnStar should have a record of it happening, but I have not contacted them.

Transmission has failed twice in 2023, dealer carried out repairs but still the Transmission started shuddering after every 1000 miles, truck has been in service centre for almost 12 times for the repeated issue but no permanent solution, after my bumper to bumper warranty got over in 2025 September again service Transmission sign appeared and got my valve body replaced on January. after a month on feb the same message appeared again to service transmission and they refused to cover the issue in warranty and asked me to pay almost 7k dollors to get it repaired.

This is a well-known issue with these engines. See TSB (Service Bulletin) The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 has 42,000 miles and the warranty ran out 2 weeks ago. The vehicle is up-to-date on service. Fault code P06DA00 Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit/Open. The Yellow Check Engine Light came on and the engine does not run properly and causes engine damage. We had to drive it slowly, under 45 mph, to the nearest dealership. This is a safety issue. To replace the oil pump control valve solenoid and the wire harness for this feature is $5009.00 at Mercedes-Benz. The part cost is about $300 retail, and the rest is all labor fees.

While driving, the front driver-side suspension collapsed due to a complete detachment of the front lower lateral link. The fastener (bolt) backed out entirely and fell onto the road/under-shield. This matches the failure mode described in NHTSA Recall 21V-835, although Tesla has previously claimed my specific VIN was not included. The failure caused an immediate loss of steering control and structural instability. I am reporting this as a potential 'recall bypass' where the defect exists outside the currently identified recall population
