Manufacturer Name: Ford Motor Company

Vehicle Make: FORD

Vehicle Model: BRONCO SPORT

Model Year: 2022

Summary

A manufacturer recall was issued for a defect involving the fuel system (fuel injectors), but no remedy or repair timeline has been provided. Due to the safety risk (potential fuel leakage and/or fire), I cannot reasonably use the vehicle without concern for liability if harm were to occur. Additionally, the recall must be marked as resolved in the NHTSA database before the vehicle can be returned to normal use, which is not possible without an available fix. The extended and indefinite repair timeline creates a significant burden, as the vehicle remains unusable with no clear resolution date. I have contacted both the dealer and the manufacturer, but no satisfactory resolution or timeline has been provided. No warning lights or prior symptoms were observed. The issue has not been independently reproduced, as it is a manufacturer-identified defect. The vehicle has not been repaired because no remedy is available. Overall, this represents a safety concern and loss of use, with no timeline provided for when the recall will be resolved.

Summary

On December 15, 2025 I brought my vehicle in to McDonald Hyundai in Highlands Ranch, CO for a recall and was told the seatbelt parts would need to be ordered for Hyundai recall 283. I was told the seatbelt recall parts would take 2 weeks to arrive. January 15 I was notified by the dealership that the parts were in stock and ready to schedule. However, when I attempted to schedule the service, I was told the parts for my vehicle had been given to another customer. I was also told all seatbelt parts are now backordered with “no ETA” and that I must personally call every two weeks to check on the inventory status of recall parts in the service department at McDonald Hyundai. I asked the service advisor (Bo) for the service manager’s contact information on 3 different occasions and he refused to provide the service manager’s contact information every single time. I am still driving with my children daily under an active seatbelt recall more than 6 weeks after I was told my recall parts were ready to install.

Summary

I purchased this used car in the end of July 2025. Within the last month the service transmission light came on. Within a 24-hour period, the message changed to, "service transmission unable to shift Soon". Also alarm bells go off when I first start the car and sometimes during driving. The car feels like it drives correctly and smoothly with no shifting issues. Sometimes when that second message and check engine light icon being comes on, there seems to be a third message that is trying to pop up behind it but it does not. It seems like there is a glitch in the system. This was very concerning and scary for me. My research shows me that this has been a chronic problem for my make and model and year of car. I've also heard it can be even time to check and or change the transmission fluid. That needs to be a different message all together without causing alarm that the transmission itself is not functioning properly. I have not driven this for 10 days because many repair shops in dealerships are telling me not to risk it and of course want me to bring this in for a diagnosis. It is costly and hard to discern and trust who to go to for the correct information. The dealership should be responsible for a recall and replacing this sensor or modular so people do not have a cause for alarm if it is something as simple as needing to change the transmission fluid. There is also no dipstick on this vehicle so no local fluid fill station can check this. Many people have complained and are at a loss. I see there is a bulletin on this subject but no recall. Please take action and turn this situation into a recall once and for all to help. The little folks like me stay more safe and better informed about the health and longevity of our vehicles. Thank you for your time in reading this.

Vehicle Model: TURN2ME

Summary

The safety harness will not hold tension when my child is completely buckled in. I contacted Graco and they walked me through how to "clean" the harness to get it to work and that did not help. My child's safety is at risk because if there was an accident and a force is acted upon them the harness would not secure them in the seat. The car seat has been inspected, via video, by the manufacturer.
